Restaurant & Entertainment

Try the surprising international, oriental and African traditional cuisines. The restaurant serves set buffets, while the open-air bar serves a wide selection of beers, cocktails and liquors.

Nearby is our modern lounge, with its décor perfectly done to give it an African touch. This is great for business talks or a place to pass time and relax. In the evenings, enjoy the breathtaking sunset after taking a game drive to this truly heavenly place.

In the morning start the day with an early morning game drive in the quite serene wilderness.

An open sitting restaurant located in the main building. The buffet platforms, hot and cold, will sit in the middle of the restaurant for easy access by all.

Meal plans: Full board accommodation basis. Buffet setting is the preferred serving style but request out of the normal buffet served can be arranged for an a la’ carte menu to suit your needs at an extra fee.

Menus: A variety of menus to choose from mainly oriental, international cuisine and a taste of African traditional dishes. There will be other available options in place that can be arranged on request like bubbly bush breakfast and picnic lunch boxes.

Lounge bar

The lounge will be located in the main building sectored away from the main dining area. The décor will have an African touch that will make it a wonderful place to pass time and relax. There will be a variety of drinks served and these will include liqueur, soft drinks, cocktails, wines, and spirits, local and international beers.

Clinic/Infirmary

We have a fully equipped clinic that caters for staff and guests whenever emergencies arise. The nurse will provide assistance at a nominal fee and/or make referral to a larger, well equipped hospital if need be.

Conference Facilities

With the MICE concept picking ground in the industry, Ashnil hotels has embraced the idea by putting in place conference facilities in all the three units to compliment professionals whose line of duty demands conferencing events. We have put in place a conference facility with a revolutionized modern technology which include LCD projector for clear vision, good sound system, and other facets of building success in conference tourism.

Swimming pool

After a grueling game drive you can take a dip in our swimming pool or simply relax by the pool. This is the perfect place to relax and laze around in the calm afternoons.

Souvenir shop

The souvenir shop stocks curios, African clothing, jewellery and accessories as well as other basic items like toiletries etc. It will be open from 6.00 am – 10.00 pm with permissible lunch break.

GAME DRIVES

For any traveler who has interest in flora and fauna, the drive to go on a safari is triggered by the desire to see wildlife and vegetation in their natural habitat. We give you an opportunity to spot wildlife on a running commentary of information given by our experienced driver guides. Our game drives are conducted in 4x4 vehicles, which are equipped to cover the rough terrains associated with safaris.

GUIDED NATURE WALKS

In our spirit to get you closer to nature, we have guided nature walks bookable at the reception and conducted by our qualified naturalist. This journey will take you around the property identifying all species of flora and fauna giving details of botanical and scientific names respectively.

BREAKFAST BY THE HIPPO POOL

Ever dreamt of breaking your fast amidst hippos? We set a location by the hippo pool along the Mara river to enable you enjoy a sumptuous breakfast as the hippos do their thing.

PICNIC LUNCHES

Break the tradition of sitting in our beautiful restaurant by picking on a day to carry a lunch box to an area designated as safe and comfortable as our guides usher you to a sitting under a tree. Here our guides will give you a brief geographical talk on the landscape and the features therein.

BUSH DINNER

A table shall be set for in the bush for at dinner time on the theme nights as per the camp program. In a securely set ground under the African sky lit by the moon or candles, give us your bet, enjoy your dinner!!!! Would it not be better if your meal was served in the jungle without diluting the quality with less technology?

EVENING ENTERTAINMENT

Traditional dances, fairy tales, riddles and cultural talk dominate the air. Be part of it, sitting by the bonfire telling us your good past, (or even the worst tales of your lifetime) all surrounded by culture.
