Game drives
Full or half day game drives can be arranged to explore the national reserves’ flora and fauna.
There are a variety of safari
activities which offer exciting
add‐ons to one's stay.
They vary depending on
the clientele needs and
include guided nature
walks, evening entertainment, sundowner and
game drives.
We also specialize
in organizing an exchange of vows in the
theatre of wildlife escorted by the Maasai or Samburu
traditional dancers, bush
dinners, bush breakfast
and picnic lunches.
The
prime location of our properties
in the conservation
areas provides an ideal
start of game viewing right
from the balcony of your
room. A drive east, west,
south or north of the
lodges will give you an equal opportunity to see
and appreciate nature and
how resourceful it can be
when conserved.
While most guests will look
for the big five as a priority,
we look at nature in its
entirety and appreciate
even the smallest of the
creatures available in the
conservation areas.
Our Conservation Efforts
Sundowner
This is a perfect way to end the day along the magnificent Ewaso Nyiro River where you can relax and watch the sun slowly set as you unwind with a cocktail before dinner.
Weddings
Ashnil hotels will be prepared to arrange an exchange of vows in the theatre of the wild – Buffalo Springs Game Reserves.
Guided nature walks
Guests can enjoy discovering the diversity of the national reserve on foot and have an intimate encounter with the wildlife and nature. For those who love bird watching our resident naturalist will take you on a guided tour through the reserve to learn about the various bird species.
Evening entertainment
Evening entertainment of Samburu cultural talks and dances gives you a special opportunity to gain in-sight in to the traditional lifestyle of the Samburu people. Also visit the Samburu villages and buy their unique handicrafts.
